Dr. David Montgomery tells about his retirement and selection of Drs Allyson and Jason Drew to carry the torch. To My Dear Patients and Friends: I am writing to tell you that after 31 years I am retiring from my dental practice to concentrate on enjoying life with my wife, Lynda. As many of you know, our four sons are all out of the house with Eric leaving for college in September. It is time for us to go bother them and do some of the things we have always dreamed of. Being your dentist has been a privilege and it was a great deal of fun getting to know each of you. I sincerely appreciate the trust you placed in my staff and in me. Officially, my retirement begins on my birthday, July 26, when Dr. Allyson Drew and Dr. Jason Drew take over the practice. I assure you that excellent service will continue. While announcement of my retirement may seem sudden, please know that Drs. Drew and I have worked hard behind the scenes to make this transition seamless. All the staff will continue in their jobs and are excited to work with this amazing husband and wife dental team. You will find Dr. Allyson and Dr. Jason Drew are competent and honest practitioners. Their enthusiastic, caring manner is closely aligned with my philosophy of care. With their combined experience and education, they will be adding new technology and specialty services including digital x-rays, Invisalign orthodontics, oral surgery and implants, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. Like me, they love dentistry and are excited to raise a family here. I will truly miss all of you as patients and long time friends. Throughout my career, my goal was to help patients keep their teeth for a lifetime and maintain optimal health. Looking back, I am proud of my record! It really has been a privilege to be trusted with your dental care over the years. Having confidence in my successors makes this transition much easier.
